At KS3 pupils follow a course of study based on the National Strategy and National Curriculum for PE. During one hour dance sessions we look at a broad range of topics from basic dance skills, to dance styles, to the influence that cultural differences have on dance and performance.

To develop our students' knowledge workshops with outside professional artists are organised to introduce new schemes of work. This allows students the opportunity to experience professional work 'live' with professional help and support.

Image of dance classStudents are entitled to participate in any extra-curricular activities that run after school. These consist of different dance styles ranging from street dance to rock 'n' roll. At the end of the year pupils are given the opportunity to perform their newly aquired skills in a grand performance to family and friends.
