All our pupils have an entitlement to careers education and guidance. This is delivered mainly through PSHE and the curriculum with support from Lifetime, Connexions and Aim Higher initiatives.
These include Early Outreach, Summer Schools and links with local colleges and universities. Pupils are encouraged to value continued learning post 16 either through further study at a college or 6th form or through structured work based training leading to NVQs.
During the school year we have a dedicated World of Work day. Many visits are arranged and visitors regularly come into school to enhance our provision. Clifton is fortunate to have its own dedicated guidance team, including Connexions and Personal Advisors to advise our young people.
