Rotherham schools Spotlight Evening . This will take place on Friday 16th June at Rotherham Arts Centre. Y9 will perform extracts from Oscar Wilde's 'The Importance of Being Earnest'. This is a chance for Rotherham Schools to showcase some of their best work. |

Year 11 Progress File Presentation This will take place during the afternoon of Friday 19th May 2006. The event will allow Y11 to have a formal presentation of their Progress Files before they all begin their final GCSE examinations. Parents and staff are invited to this event. Again for staff to prepare both the school and students for this process a partial, early closure is necessary. The arrangements are as follows: Y7 will have lunch and be allowed to leave at 12.25 Y9 will have lunch and be allowed to leave at 12.55 Y8 will have lunch and be allowed to leave at 1.10 Y10 will have lunch and be allowed to leave at 1.20 If either of these arrangements cause difficulty for you and your child please contact the school and we will try to make some arrangements to help. |

GCSE Showcase Evening On Tuesday 25th April, 7pm at Clifton: A Performing Arts School is hosting its first annual GCSE Showcase Evening. It will be a unique opportunity to see examples of the outstanding work completed by pupils across a range of subjects. The evening will last for approximately 1 hour with light refreshments provided afterwards. Admission free! |

Governors were very pleased to appoint Mr. Patrick Daley as Headteacher (with effect from September 1 st 2006). After a very rigorous shortlisting and interview process Governors took two candidates through to the final day. Governors were unanimous in their view that they were faced with a difficult choice between the final two superb candidates, Mr. Daley and Mr. Naisbitt. The process has been a very positive one for the school with an outstanding appointment the result. |
